The Bunnies Are Coming: Carve Bunnies Launches Annual Girls Trip Empowering Women on the Slopes

NYC, March 12, 2025 –

Carve Bunnies, a New York City–based nonprofit dedicated to building safe, inclusive spaces for women in action sports, is excited to announce its annual Girls Trip, aptly titled “The Bunnies Are Coming.” This empowering event will take place from March 14–16, 2025, at Okemo Mountain and Killington Mountain, uniting women from all walks of life for an unforgettable weekend on the slopes.

Event Highlights:

  • Dates: March 14–16, 2025
  • Locations:
    • Okemo Mountain (March 14): Group ride led by @byebray
    • Killington Mountain (March 14): Group ride led by @dstacyj
    • Killington Mountain (March 15): Group ride led by @virg0bab3
Carve Bunnies provides an all-women environment where skiers and snowboarders of every ability can experience the thrill of the mountains without judgment. From demo boards and group rides to après-ski fun and genuine camaraderie, the event offers participants a chance to form lasting bonds centered on their shared passion for adventure.“Coming from an immigrant family living in the inner city, I always viewed snowboarding as a sport for those from affluent, privileged backgrounds—a world I never imagined I could belong to or afford. I used to watch the X Games on TV and dream of snowboarding, even though it felt like a pipe dream that I couldn’t ask my parents to fund. In my 20s, I finally used my first paycheck to take lessons, and I quickly fell in love with the sport. The lack of women on the slopes, especially those who looked like me, drove me to create a community where everyone is welcome. This event is a celebration of that vision and a step toward breaking down barriers in action sports.”
